ITA is seeking an SMDR-TACITS/Individual Training Program Analyst to join the team in a remote position.  There will be occasional travel to the customer site in Arlington, as required.

 

Responsibilities

The Individual Training Branch (ARNG-TRI), Training Division, Army National Guard G-3, Army National Guard Directorate, National Guard Bureau requires an Individual Training Program Analyst to provide overarching integration and facilitation support for future ARNG Military Operational Skills (MOS) producing or reclassification training programs to ensure they are well synchronized with known and projected requirements. Specifically, the Training Analyst will:

 

  • Represent the ARNG Military Requirements with performing duties with respect to Total Army Centralized Individual Training Solicitation/Structure Manning and Decision Review (TACITS/SMDR) and TCCW per AR 350-10 on MOS training and Professional Military Education.
  • Conduct analysis of the Individual Training Requirements and Resources Life-cycle per AR 350-10 and provide the Government with results of the analysis in documents, communications, and briefing material to support decision making by ARNG leaders.
  • Identify emerging requirements and The Army School System (TASS) related issues.
  • Provide recommendations to the ARNG-TRI Plans and Programs Team Chief/ staff on matters relating to MOS Qualification;
  • Conduct reviews of courses to include technical phases applicable to ARNG Soldiers;
  • Provide qualitative and quantitative analysis of resource requirements for future individual training;
  • Receive and action TRAS documents that include CAD and POI review requests from TRADOC, Army Centers of Excellence (COEs) and Proponents.
  • Prepare staffing packets upon receipt of TRAS documents and forward the staffing packets to the appropriate Government points of contact for review and comments.
  • Work closely with ARNG SME Cells to ensure future course materials are compatible with training in a Reserve Component Institution;
  • Provide analysis and recommendations on current and future training shortfalls;
  • Provide monthly data on status, throughput and density of training;
  • Prepare briefings, detailed notes and packaged reports;

Qualifications

  • Possess and maintain an active Secret clearance
  • Be proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and MS Outlook and other software/tools provided on the ANGB Workstation and provided for a specific position
  • Experience conducting analysis of training per ARMY UNIT STATUS REPORTING AND FORCE REGISTRATION - CONSOLIDATED POLICIES (AR 220-1)
  • Experience with Army Training Resource Requirements System (ATRRS) and Army Funding Allocation Model (AFAM) reports
  • Experience reviewing emerging schools requirements, for Schools Unfunded Requirements (UFRs), and MOS statistics
  • Experience conducting courseware assessments of The Army Training System (TATS) courses.
  • Experience liaising with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) located regionally throughout the U.S.
  • Experience gathering SME personnel feedback, has reviewed course POIs.

Pay range for this position is $73,500 - $83,500 annually.
