ITA is seeking a Senior Operator (Aegis Ashore Team Trainer) in Dam Neck, Virginia.

 

*Please note this opportunity is contingent upon successful contract award expected 2026.

Responsibilities

Aegis Ashore Team Trainer (AATT) aids training, qualification, and certification of our Sailors, supporting the next evolution in combat systems training.

  • Provide OASIS tactical trainer support of Surface Combat Systems Training Commands (SCSTC) for training and readiness events
  • Support loading, Verification & Validation (V&V), and operating scenarios
  • Utilize Linux based systems while conducting complex combat simulations to train Naval officers and enlisted Sailors on the AEGIS Weapons System
  • Run testing, evaluation, and implementation of newly designed training material on complex air, surface, undersea, and ballistic missile threats
  • Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on the various electrical and mechanical systems required to operate the AEGIS Weapon System such as servers, common network connectivity devices, sub stations, cooling systems, etc.
  • Participate in the testing, evaluation, and implementation of newly designed training material to be used in conjunction with live integrated warfare systems in a simulated maritime environment.
  • Deliver post-event analysis and reports after the completion of lab events
  • Develop, improve, or modify existing documentation for scenario development, including Simulator Operators Handbook/SOP

Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • Eight (8) years of Combat Information Center Watchstation experience
  • Two (2) years of Ballistic Missile Defense experience
  • Active Secret Clearance 

 

Desired Experience:

  • Knowledge of Anti-Submarine Warfare Acoustic Instructor Console
  • Knowledge of Next Generation System in support of Integrated Air and Missile Defense Training Scenarios
  • Familiar with L-16, MLST3, CDLMS, and CEC Data Link Systems
