ITA is seeking a Cost Analyst to join the team supporting the Department of Homeland Security.  This position is remote in the National Capitol Region.

Responsibilities

ITA International is seeking a highly motivated, performance-driven individual with strong analysis experience to work closely with our Government clients in the National Capital Region. Successful candidates will have expereince developing acquisition lifecycle cost estimates (LCCEs), excellent communication, quantitative, research, and analytical skills and the capability to principally contribute to several of the largest and most significant studies in ITA's portfolio.

Duties Include:

 

  • Lead and support Cost Analysis, Business Case Analysis (BCA), and Economic Analysis (EA) studies
  • Develop, update, and apply mathematical and logical methodologies for supporting program analyses
  • Lead and support data analytics and advanced analytics efforts
  • Develop, update, manipulate, and maintain cost models
  • Lead and participate in efforts in collecting, normalizing, and analyzing complex data
  • Contribute to the evaluation of program investment and acquisition strategies and courses of action
  • Identify sustainment cost impacts of acquisition decisions
  • Lead and participate in the development of basis and supporting materials for briefings to management at the executive and oversight levels for all affected program/project funding requirements
  • Work autonomously and as part of a team to meet organizational and project goals
  • Communicate and work with diverse organizations and representatives for data collection, analysis, and results presentation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Operations Research or other similar quantitative degree preferred
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience conducting cost, cost-benefit, or cost-effectiveness analysis supporting US Government acquisition programs (e.g., space, software, IT, or weapon system development, testing, procurement, and sustainment);
  • Experience with designing and implementing cost and cost-benefit modeling preferred;
  • Strong communications, analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills; excellent report writing abilities required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
  • Certification in cost estimation strongly preferred (e.g., ICEAA PCEA, DAWIA Practioner/Level 2 Cost Estimating, etc.)
