ITA is seeking a Policy Subject Matter Export to join the team. 

 

Please note this opportunity is contingent upon successful contract award, expected Summer 2024.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for development and implementation of assigned tasks and projects.
  • Provides technical and analytical guidance to team.
  • Ensures adherence to quality standards, metrics, and reviews deliverables.
  • Clear communication skills: conducts meetings and responsible for informing Government on status and analysis. 
  • Provide administrative and advisory support in the continued establishment of Data Science and AI as career fields in the Department of the Air Force.
  • Support collaboration and coordination to provide data, AI, and RAI expertise and insight into management policies and governance.
  • Develop policies and governance for approval by SAF/CND leadership on enterprise data management, AI and responsible AI, standards, data services operations, inventorying, metadata tagging, data architecture, generative AI, talent management, and all matters related to data and AI governance.
  • Provide both administrative and advisory support in identifying the data and AI talent across the Department of the Air Force workforce.
  • Development of enterprise standards for training, education, certification, and professional development in the data science and AI domains.
  • Support the DAF and DoD CDAO in their tasked initiatives to upskill the current workforce in data acumen through the definition and development of policy and guidance for data science and AI competency.
  • Maintain a strategic framework to optimize the DAF talent management community that drives priorities and supports the data and AI workforce development desired end state and build pathways for integrating personnel, training, and employment-centric efforts.

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • 3-5 years of experience in policy support to DoD or DAF, which includes knowledge of staffing and coordination.
