ITA is seeking a Human Resource Specialist to join the team at Robins Air Force Base in Georgia.

Responsibilities

  • Advise senior military leaders and immediate supervisors on military personnel matters, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures for informed personnel resource decisions.
  • Provide technical guidance on policy and accountability in various functional areas, including staffing, recruitment and placement, retention, merit promotion, excepted service, awards, employee benefits, and pay administration.
  • Collaborate with staff on executing program remediation efforts and corrective action plans.
  • Oversee the processing of Air Force personnel gains, losses, retirements, and separations.
  • Manage Air Force billet allocations and liaise with the Air Force Personnel Center for the submission of required Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and service-specific forms and policies.
  • Conduct a broad range of analytical tasks for planning, prioritizing, justifying, directing, controlling, managing, and implementing military personnel actions.
  • Enhance the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of organizational operations by contributing through training and meeting management requirements.
  • Serve as an advisor in meetings, working groups, and related discussions, providing valuable input and gathering information on military personnel and organizational matters.
  • Support the leadership team in developing and implementing data analytics tools to efficiently track and allocate resources, aiming to expedite decision-making processes.
  • Utilize qualitative and quantitative analytical methods, adapting them as necessary to handle diverse variables and synthesize relevant data into a coherent operational overview.

Qualifications

  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Associate's degree, administrative certification, or applicable experience.
  • Journeyman level experience and/or qualification with managing DoD programs.
  • Must be capable of obtaining and retaining a SECRET security clearance.
  • Firm understanding of establishing and maintaining military/government personnel assignments and employer-employee relationships that contribute to productivity, motivation, morale, and discipline in the workplace.
  • Firm understanding of Air Force personnel and pay processes, to include evaluations, fitness reports, and awards.
  • Ability to devise organizational structuring and resource allocation options for complex and diverse organizations including the application of commonly used budgetary methods, practices, procedures, regulations, policies, and processes.
  • Ability to gather, assemble, and analyze data to prepare budget estimates, develop alternatives, and to develop, apply, and adjust financial plans and policies to solve complex budget/funding problems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to devise organizational structuring and resource allocation options for complex and diverse organizations including the application of commonly used budgetary methods, practices, procedures, regulations, policies, and processes.
