ITA is seeking a Manpower Analyst to join the team at Robins Air Force Base in Georgia.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates staffing matters to ensure alignment with program guidance, directives, authorized positions, and effective management practices.
  • Provides assistance and advice to management on forecasting and calculating manpower requirements, including realignments of personnel, work distribution, efficiency of positions/employees, workforce development, succession planning, and issues related to workforce authorization.
  • Conducts organizational studies to evaluate efficiency and productivity, recommending modifications to methods, practices, and procedures as necessary.
  • Identifies necessary resources (staff, funding, equipment, facilities) to support varying levels of program operations and/or functional transfers.
  • Represents the office in business meetings, briefings, symposia, and conferences as a key liaison.
  • Serves as an assistant focal point for implementing manpower and budgetary resource allocation policies and guidance.
  • Supports workforce utilization studies to assess span of control, staffing levels, and specific job requirements.
  • Analyzes human resource needs and capabilities for current and projected workloads, monitors authorized and assigned resources, and updates management on workforce utilization.
  • Provides management support and advice on manpower resourcing, financial status, alternatives, and issues, including participation in the Air Force's planning, programming, budgeting, and execution processes.
  • Assists the leadership team in designing and implementing data analytics tools to optimize resource tracking and allocation, aiming to expedite decision-making processes.
  • Employs qualitative and quantitative analytical methods, adapting them as needed to accommodate a broad spectrum of factors, integrating relevant data into a comprehensive operational perspective.
 

Qualifications

  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Associate's degree, administrative certification, or applicable experience.
  • Journeyman level experience and/or qualification with managing DoD administrative support programs.
  • Must be capable of obtaining and retaining a SECRET security clearance.
  • Knowledge of U.S. Air Force manpower and organization principles and concepts, financial management directives, procedures, guidance, and policy.
  • Ability to devise organizational structuring and resource allocation options for complex and diverse organizations including the application of commonly used budgetary methods, practices, procedures, regulations, policies, and processes.
  • Ability to gather, assemble, and analyze data to prepare budget estimates, develop alternatives, and to develop, apply, and adjust financial plans and policies to solve complex budget/funding problems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to devise organizational structuring and resource allocation options for complex and diverse organizations including the application of commonly used budgetary methods, practices, procedures, regulations, policies, and processes.
