ITA is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join the team at Robins Air Force Base in Georgia.

Responsibilities

The Electronics Engineer will provide assistance and advice on Test and Evaluation (T&E) of operational Electronic Warfare (EW) equipment, mission data software development and deployment, and on the broad spectrum of EW technology for the unit. Additional activities to support include rapid emergency mission data software reprogramming, analyzing/integrating the latest intelligence data, comparing hostile threat capability with current EW system capabilities, incorporating new capabilities, demonstrating the operational feasibility of EW systems through T&E reports, and enhancing overall EW effectiveness of assigned portfolio of platforms and/or systems. 

  • Perform professional electronics engineering work involved in electronic warfare and the application of advanced theories, concepts, principles, and processes.
  • Plans and carries out assignments for projects and applies knowledge of the physical and engineering sciences, mathematics, electronics phenomena, and the most advanced principles, techniques, and practices of electronics engineering.
  • Responsible for guiding projects and supporting systems which intercept, identify, or actively utilize electromagnetic energy to determine, exploit, counter, reduce, or prevent hostile use of the electromagnetic spectrum.
  • Perform as the organization’s technical specialist to develop requirements, objectives, estimation of time and resources for support of installation, operations, and maintenance.
  • Applies an extensive knowledge of the field of electronics engineering and an expert knowledge of the assigned subject matter or functional area to resolve unique or novel problems related to installation, operations, and maintenance.
  • Guide and evaluate engineering and technical efforts used to define operating and environmental conditions in order to provide design inputs, feedback, and modifying designs as necessary to adapt them to actual environments.
  • Provides status and advice to organization leaders on problems, issues, and projects in assigned program areas.
  • Perform complex and comprehensive analysis and use systematic, disciplined, and quantifiable approaches to manage projects.
  • Provides support for the organization to utilize data analytics and data tools to improve EW Assessment performance and administration.
  • Evaluate all assigned duties for applicability and extension of 350th SWW operationalized data picture and integrate data metrics into daily decisions and battle rhythm.

Qualifications

  • Broad and considerable experience in Electronic Warfare applications.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or other applicable technical discipline.
  • Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. Must have current Secret security clearance and be TS/SCI eligible.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in EW concepts and a thorough understanding of hostile EW systems, and EW operational T&E.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the organizational missions and interfaces with combat units, intelligence, and support agencies.
  • Ability to give oral presentations and communicate in technical writing.
  • Ability to advise unit leadership and stakeholders using a high degree of tact and diplomacy.
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial and budgetary systems, management, and ability to execute projects within established financial and time constraints.
  • Knowledge of policies, programs, organizations, functions, resources, and legislation affecting assigned programs.
  • Master's Degree or higher in applicable technical discipline.
  • SAP/SCI experience.
