ITA is seeking an Underway Replenishment Instructor (STREAM) to join the team in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Location: MSC Underway Replenishment Training Center (MUTC), located on the Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek (JEBLC), Virginia.
Instructor to provide course instruction on underway replenishment related courses and other maritime courses. Teach High Risk STREAM Cargo/Fuel Training courses.
Provide instruction on the subject of underway replenishment procedures and equipment to US Navy Active Duty and Reserve Sailors, Civil Service Mariners, and Contractor Mariners serving on Cargo Afloat Rig Teams. (CART)
Provide support to Ship Qualification Trial Team, CART Teams and MSC Reserve units that are embarked aboard CLF ships for Underway Sustainment Training Support MSC reserve units in the Qualification/Certification Program.
Candidate must possess a thorough understanding of UNREP, MHE, and OHE equipment operations. Specifically, Underway replenishment techniques; Standard Tensioned Replenishment Alongside Method (STREAM) utilized in both Replenishment at Sea (RAS) and Fueling at Sea (FAS) evolutions.
Previous Instructor qualifications, Master Training Specialist and High-risk Instructor qualifications desirable.
Post Hire: Complete and Maintain current Basic First, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), automated external defibrillator (AED)certification form a nationally recognized organization.
Post Hire: Complete and Maintain a current High-risk Instructor qualifications and physical requirements as outlined in OPNAVINST 1500.75 (series) enclosures (2) through (4), MSCINST 6000.1 (series).
Candidate must possess active Secret security clearance.
