ITA is seeking a Technical Writer to join the team at headquarters in Newport News.
Technical Writing Duties:
Help manage capture activities to include pipeline development and management.
Assist with proposal writing, such as editing, writing content, and reformatting documentation.
Work with Subject Matter Experts to development technical documents for proposal submission.
Review/edit technical documents to ensure compliance with given requirements and specifications.
Develop and edit employees’ or prospective employees' resumes to include writing content or editing as required.
Develop and maintain corporate-wide Style templates for commonly delivered documents.
Maintain required Customer Solutions ISO Process processes and documents.
Organize and complete writing assignments according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology.
Maintain records and files of work and revisions, to include NDAs, TAs, Color Team products.
Administrator Support Duties:
Supports Customer Solutions staff by tracking opportunity bids and final awards by entering data in customer relationship management tools (SalesForce).
Prepares, coordinates, and facilitates weekly, monthly, and quarterly Customer Solutions briefings and meetings.
Supports the Customer Solutions Team by creating and maintaining required customer relations content.
Assists in the preparation of white papers, executive bios, corporate newsletter content, social media content, and speakers notes.
Assists in planning and executing Customer Solutions' personnel trips and attendance at conferences, symposiums, and other engagement events.
Ability to acquire and maintain a Secret Clearance.
Experience in Market Segmentation, Marketing Research, Reporting Research Results, and Process Improvement.
MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint proficiency required
Ability to use ‘cloud’ computing capability and management of customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
Possess a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Ability to shift priorities as needed and to work under tight time frames in order to meet required deadlines.
Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in government proposal processes (to include Department of Defense and the interagency) desired, to include writing and performing Quality Control / Quality Assurance reviews for proposal documentation; or experience in a technical military role.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently or collaboratively with a team.
Desired Competencies and Abilities:
Masters Degree in relevant field.
MS Project proficiency.
Graphic art competencies.
