    ITA International is seeking a qualified M-SOFS Gear Issue/HAZMAT Customer Service Representative at JEB Little Creek, in Virginia Beach, VA.


    This position is contingent upon successful contract award, estimated for January 2020.



    Summary Experience
    Minimum five years’ warehousing and inventory management experience within the Department of Defense (DoD).
    Minimum one year experience managing HAZMAT

    Job Purpose
    This individual is responsible for warehouse management tasks such as receiving, stowage, receipt processing and HAZMAT program support.

    Maintains inventory control, sustainment replenishment and issue of NSW personal and operational gear. Breakout operational consumables and process general service requests. Issue initial load-out and sustainment of personal and operational gear.
    Validate all received material quantities, stock/part numbers, unit of issue, and inspect all items to ensure acceptance in accordance with policy.
    Process, manage, and transport (via forklift) incoming material, stowage, inventory, and daily reconciliation of material issued in SWALIS/DPAS and R-Supply. Conduct research of incoming material, process and manage return and disposal of gear.
    Assembles deployment training-specific gear issue load-out per listings specific to geographical regions and expertise. Retrieve sizing requirements for specific personnel.
    Maintain inventory control, sustainment, replenishment and issue of NSW hazardous material (HAZMAT) line items.
    Provide customer service support for the HAZMAT program to include activities such as fulfilling customer requests, stowage and compatibility considerations, provide necessary documentation to support procurement, and all disposal/disposition of HAZMAT activities.
    Researches and gathers all Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in support of HAZMAT program.
    Maintain and inspect all HAZMAT spaces and keep them within Navy standards for inspections.


    Experience & Knowledge
    Minimum five years’ warehousing and inventory management experience within the Department of Defense (DoD).
    Minimum one year experience managing HAZMAT
    Be able to operate a Personal Computer (PC) with common/standard business software programs.
    Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    Be able to communicate clearly and effectively with others, both verbally and in writing.

    Education & Certification
    License to operate a forklift
    Complete and maintain HAZMAT required training through Environmental Compliance Assessment, Training and Tracking System (ECATTS).
    Possess a valid state driver’s license
    Security Eligibility
    All contractor personnel require a minimum SECRET Security Clearance.
