    ITA International is seeking a qualified M-SOFS Diving Maintenance Technician / 3M Work Center Supervisor Qualified / SWALIS-DPAS Database Specialist / Personal Property Custodian at JEB Little Creek, in Virginia Beach, VA.

     

    This position is contingent upon successful contract award, estimated for January 2020.

     

    Responsibilities

    Summary Experience
    Minimum five years’ experience as a certified 5342/MDV1 diver.
    Minimum of Three (3) years NSW experience.
    Minimum of three years’ inventory management experience
    within NSW.
    Education
    Navy Dive School Certified ((NEC 5342 (MDV1 or higher)).

    Responsibilities
    Conducts preventative and corrective maintenance as mandated by OPNAV Instruction 4790 and as scheduled in 3M for all open circuit items including SCUBA tanks, regulators, air compressors, Haskel oxygen charging booster pumps and kits, diagnostic test equipment and tools, buoyancy compensators, surface swim life preservers, depth gauges, pressure gauges, underwater communications equipment, full face diving masks, diving Life Support System (DLSS) associated equipment and NAVSEA Certified Life Support Systems.
    Schedules maintenance within the Preventative Maintenance System (PMS) computer program and document maintenance as it is completed.
    Inventories repair and maintenance supplies and parts. Identify requirements for recommended procurement.
    Conducts spot-inventories of diving equipment to include equipment utilized at remote training sites within NSW. Must be available to travel in CONUS to conduct maintenance and Inventories.
    Process requests, maintain records, and manage the issue, turn-in, gain, and loss of capital assets, minor property, and operational consumables (OPCON) assigned to Dive Division.
    Conducts monthly inventories, bi-annual inventories, and annual inventories of gear managed in SWALIS/DPAS by NSWG-2 N4.
    Investigates and process paperwork for missing, lost, stolen or damaged property.
    Assists with customer service, issue turn-in, issue documents (DD Form 1149) and receipt of diving equipment. Check and track dive equipment requests and assist in procuring and issuing dive equipment.
    Maintains access and complete required training to manage inventories within the command Accountability Property System Record (APSR) through SWALIS and/or DPAS programs.

    Qualifications

    Experience & Knowledge
    Minimum five years’ experience as a certified 5342/MDV1 diver.
    Minimum of three (3) years NSW experience.
    Minimum of three years’ inventory management experience within NSW.
    Qualification as a Material Maintenance Management (3M) Maintenance Man, 3M Quality Assurance Craftsman and 3M Work Center Supervisor.
    Qualified in accordance with NAVEDTRA 43910-(Series).
    Possess factory-trained certification for diving equipment within inventory, DLSS Re-Entry Control (REC) Supervisor, oxygen clean system worker, and MK 25 UBA maintenance technician.
    Be able to operate a Personal Computer (PC) with common/standard business software programs.
    Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    Be able to communicate clearly and effectively with others, both verbally and in writing.

    Education & Certification
    Possess a valid state driver’s license
    Navy Dive School Certified ((NEC 5342 (MDV1 or higher)).
    Security Eligibility
