    ITA International is currently seeking motivated and talented individuals who can offer the knowledge, skills, and experience of a Military Requirements (TACITS/SMDR Programs/POM) Analyst in Arlington, VA.  

     

    Responsibilities

    The Individual Training Branch (ARNG-TRI), Training Division, Army National Guard G-3, Army National Guard Directorate, National Guard Bureau requires the Military Requirements Analyst to develop and analyze training strategies for current and future ARNG units that support individual Soldier readiness in conjunction with Army Force Generation (ARFORGEN). Ensures that realistic and defendable resource requirements to support those strategies are presented to HQDA for inclusion in the POM. Specifically, the Military Requirements Analyst:

    • Conducts in-depth program analysis, review and analyze overall responsibilities and objectives of the ARNG Training Seat Policy and program;
    • Develops strategies to improve resourcing training seats;
    • Establishes, develops and maintains short and long-range objectives and organizational goals;
    • Determines the appropriate Program of Instruction (POI) and provide Course Administration Data analysis review;
    • Develops a strategy to manage processes which would validate the TACITS input from all of the ARNG’s stakeholders;
    • Synchronizes and assists the government customers with Training Coordination Conference Workshop (TCCW) and Training Resource Arbitration Panel (TRAP) in preparation of the SMDR;
    • Analyzes specific MOS’s, Professional Military Education and critical functional schools in preparation for the SMDR;
    • Ensures requirements that are validated in the SMDR as the Army Program for Individual Training (ARPRINT) are successfully captured and accounted for in the Individual Training Resource Model (ITRM) for input into the PPBE process;
    • Provides support in developing strategies for allocation, distribution and execution ARNG training resources for administrating Student Pay & Allowances and school house funding per force structure;
    • Reviews and analyzes special MOB classes and update individual training team members;
    • Provides support/recommendations to States and ARNG on ATRRS and ATRRS Funding Allocation Model (AFAM) requirements;
    • Provides training program evaluation and analysis for States & Territories, proponent service schools, Army HQ, State Joint Force HQs and other agencies to determine implications to unit readiness, and supporting maintenance of ARNG DMOSQ levels;
    • Develops, analyzes and plans seat quota administration;
    • Creates, manages, and maintains effective short and long-range plans for execution of individual training seats;
    • Analyzes and develops individual Training requirements to support the ARNG’s mission in 54 States and Territories; and,
    • Reviews and analyzes quota utilization performance reports and other data systems reports as needed.

    Qualifications

    • Possess and maintain an active Secret clearance
    • Be proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and MS Outlook and other software/tools provided on the ANGB Workstation and provided for a specific position
    • Experienced conducting analysis of the Individual Training Requirements and Resources Lifecycle per AR 350-10
    • Experienced in reviewing individual training requirements within TACITS per AR 350-10
    • Experience participating in The Training Coordination Council Workgroup (TCCW) per AR 350-1
    • Experience attending HQDA G3/5/7 and HQDA G1, SMDR and provided historical quota use and future projections relevant to ARNG institutional training seats. Experience entering data into the ATRRS system to prepare for the SMDR per AR 350-10
    • Experience reviewing ARNG Training and Readiness Guidance and submitting required reports
    • Experience reviewing and preparing staffing documents for TRAS documents, CAD and POI review requests from TRADOC, Army Centers of Excellence (COEs) and Proponents
    • Experience staffing Critical Task Site Selection Board (CTSSB) support requests from TRADOC Proponent Schools
    • Experience utilizing One Army School System (OASS) AR 350-1
    • Experience coordinating for Unfunded Requirements (UFRs), and provide supporting evidence for potential individual training solutions per AR 1-1 and AR 350-10
    • Experience using ATRRS
