ITA is seeking Operational Requirements Sponsor Support to join the team at Langley AFB. This position is contingent upon contract award in January 2019.
This position provides the division with subject matter expertise in various operational C2 capability areas throughout Joint Doctrine (especially JP 3-30), and basic project management activities relevant to assigned capabilities or programs. This SME implements decomposition analysis, support to define valid data sources, and stands ready to lead the development of required documents and concepts relative to assigned capabilities/programs. Support includes: analyzing integration and interfaces between division-assigned and external capabilities or programs to identify requirement gaps or conflicts requiring attention by capability developers or requirement sponsors; developing operational requirements statements associated with supported capabilities or programs, translating user operational requirement statements to the appropriate requirements format(s); participating in product design meetings and activities relevant to the supported area of expertise; and reviewing relevant Joint, Air Force, Army, Navy, and Marine concepts of operations and employment, doctrine, systems documentation, and emerging threat assessments to identify relevant interactions, and suggesting changes to supported capabilities or programs.
● Requires two (2) years’ experience within the past ten (10) years related to division-managed capabilities.
● Requires two (2) years’ experience within the past ten (10) years working on an Air Force HQ or MAJCOM staff.
● Desire ten (10) years’ background in general military air combat or C2 disciplines.
● Desire two (2) or more years’ experience supporting emerging or experimental C2 programs or supporting a C2 operational requirements sponsor.
