    ITA International (ITA) is a provider of integrated support services to include analysis, planning, training, acquisition management, cyber/intelligence, engineering, logistics, and maritime support services to government, non-governmental organizations and commercial customers worldwide.

     

    ITA International is seeking qualified candidates to join their team at Peterson AFB as a Strategy, Planning and Policy Lead II.  This position is  contingent upon contract award.

    Responsibilities

    ITA International is seeking qualified candidates to support the HQ NORAD and USNORTHCOM J5 (N&NC/J5) to help develop and coordinate strategy, policy, doctrine across their Homeland Defense (HD), Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) and Theater Security Cooperation (TSC) missions.
    PRIMARY DUTY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Help J5 develop and assess strategy and policy directed by the Unified Command Plan, Joint Strategic Campaign Plan, National Security Strategy, National Defense Strategy, National Military Strategy and other strategic documents.
    • Help J5 develop and coordinate Binational, National, Interagency, DOD, international and Joint Staff strategy, policy, and doctrine issues across all N&NC mission sets.
    • Conduct studies, analyses, evaluations, military utility assessments, and capabilities-based assessments and use the outcomes to enhance N&NC plans.
    • Provide expertise and support studies, analyses, and evaluation activities to help develop N&NC Theater Strategy and Campaign and related operational plans.
    Ensure Team understands ITA’s Quality, Health, Safety, Environmental Management Systems (QHSEMS) policy

    Qualifications


    RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
    • Minimum 5 years of experience supporting DoD or U.S. Government in developing strategy, policy, doctrine and operational planning documents
    • Exceptional oral and written presentation skills
    • Ability to prepare both rapid turnaround analyses and in-depth reports for audiences at multiple levels of organization and leadership, and to collect, compile and assess comments, meeting notes for adjudication for staffing coordination
    • Prior military service, with experience using the Joint Planning and Execution System
    EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelor degree in International Affairs or an equivalent discipline relevant to the position, plus at least 5 years of professional experience; or bachelor’s degree plus at least 8 years’ relevant professional experience.  Completion of U.S. Army SAMS or equivalent course of instruction is preferred.
    SECURITY CLEARANCE: MUST be a U.S. citizen and possess an active DoD TOP SECRET clearance.
