    ITA is currently seeking for the following position: INTRODUCTION TO FIGHTER FUNDAMENTALS (IFF) Training Support, for our Randolph Air Force Base, Texas location.  


    Operate office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, phone systems and use computers for spreadsheets, word processing, database management, electronic mail and other applications.
    Prepare reports, memos, letters, forms, briefings, emails and other documents using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software.
    Make changes to Word documents, modify Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations to enhance their effectiveness or to repair/correct minor errors.
    Utilize the Training Integrated Management System/Graduate Training Integrated Management System (TIMS/GTIMS) and/or comparable weapon system specific Training Management System (TMS) or equivalent; TIMS/GTIMS, TMS, Patriot Excalibur (PEX), or equivalent
    Greet visitors, answer phones and provide information to callers and take messages or forward calls to appropriate individuals.
    Provide customer service as needed and respond to information requests directed to their office.
    Establish and maintain paper and electronic filing systems for records, correspondence and other materials IAW USAF Records Management standards as defined in AFMAN 33-363 (Chap 1-7), Air Force Instruction (AFI) 33-322 (Chap 1-7), AFI 33- 332 associated AETC/Installation supplements, and locally-developed guidance.
    Work section products; check for correct grammar and spelling, and ensure compliance with group, wing, and higher headquarters policies and instructions.
    Compose, type, and distribute notes, routine correspondence and reports in the format established by their assigned organization.
    Prepare official document in formats specified by the Air Force Handbook 33-337, The Tongue and Quill, group, wing, and higher headquarters policies and
    Create and maintain continuity folder containing job responsibilities, procedures, points of contact, templates, forms, and associated task documentation.
    Perform in-processing and out-processing functions of personnel for their assigned support function IAW local guidance.
    Provide quarterly inputs to Management Internal Control Toolset (MICT) database or equivalent in accordance with local procedures. 
    Complete MICT communicators applicable to programs they are assigned, identify deficiencies, create and administer Corrective Action Plans using fact-finding and problem analysis, and track to resolution.
    Responsible for creating, updating, reviewing and maintaining documents and training records and folders, to be approved by the Training Officer.
    Ensure compliance with the 11-2MDSV1(Note 1) 11-202V1 (Chap 1- 9), AETCI 36-2605 Volume1 (all chapters) other applicable AETCI 36-2605 volumes (all chapters), MAJCOM supplements, syllabus, and local guidance for AETC permanent, associate and attached aircrew as well as students where applicable.
    Provide assistance with permanent party faculty upgrade, development, currency, and qualification closeout.
    Prepare and monitor local training/testing programs for aircrew as well as waiver requests for staffing.
    Coordinate with the Registrar, Current Operations/Flying Training Unit (FTU) Operations, individual flights, and Scheduling when needed.
    Update data in MS and locally developed computer database systems as required.
    Perform periodic training folder/MS template reviews. Ensure that training folders/MS templates have been properly filled out by student, instructor and reviewer in accordance with guidance issued by Training Officer as required.
    Perform the following permanent, associate and attached aircrew training support:
    Ensure permanent, associate and attached aircrew are loaded into appropriate MS; set up locally required theater indoctrination/syllabuses/requalification templates/gradebooks in MS when required and review training documents to ensure compliance with 11-MDS-V1 and supplemental guidance
    AFI 11-290 Crew Resource Management, AFI 11-202V1, supplements, and locally developed syllabus/program.
    Prepare training folders for closeout by Training Officer or designated official IAW syllabus, AETCI 36- 2605 V1 and other applicable volume (all chapters) as well as locally established guidance.
    Prepare semi-annual proration documents as well as waiver requests for approval by Training Officer IAW local format (i.e. Memorandum for Record).
    Prepare Non-Mission-Ready memorandum (or equivalent) and corrective action plans for approval by Training Officer on a semi-annual basis IAW local procedures as required.
    Interface with Host Aviation Resource Management (HARM) personnel or Squadron Aviation Resource Management (SARM) personnel, if available, to update the Aviation Resource Management System (ARMS) or equivalent systems as needed.
    Ensure the tasks in ARMS are accurately reflected in MS when needed.
    Create, review, and update training records per the applicable guidance.
    Consolidate, maintain, and publish a schedule of training events and classes using locally established norms
    Coordinate with appropriate scheduling authorities to ensure crewmembers are scheduled for ground or ancillary training, listed in the 11-2MDSV1 (Note 1), 11-202V1 as well as applicable MAJCOM and local supplements.
    Coordinate with the Unit Deployment Manager as needed to ensure pre-deployment training requirements are met IAW listed reporting instructions.
    Perform all Ancillary Training Monitor duties to include managing
    the unit ancillary training program, tracking all ancillary training using established procedures and
    ensuring unit members accomplish recurring training IAW established timelines and procedures in AFI 36-2201 Ch 7.
    Provide weekly tracking of ancillary training accomplishment for the unit Training Officer (or equivalent) as well as monthly summaries for the DO and Commander; deadline will be as identified by the unit.
    Prepare, route, and execute periodic training plans IAW 11- 2MDSV1 as required
    Prepare slides or other needed products for Training Officer approval for use in updates to squadron leadership containing the flight and readiness status of personnel.
    Provide daily tracking of upgrade and continuation training accomplishment for the Training Officer, Operations Supervisor or equivalent as well as weekly summaries for the DO; deadline will be identified by the unit.
    Generate, review and edit the following reports/forms IAW local procedure/policy when required in performance of their duties:
    • AF Form 4324, Aircraft Assignment/Aircrew Qualification Worksheet
    • AF Form 4348, USAF Aircrew Certifications
    • AF Form 4025, Aircrew Summary/Close-out Report (C-130H/J and Fighter/58 SOW)
    • AF Form 4024, Aircrew Training Accomplishment Report
    • AF Form 847, Recommendation for Change of Publication
    • AF Form 1522, Arms Additional Training Accomplishment Report
    • AETC Form 309, Runway Supervisory Unit Controller/Observer Upgrade (UPT, PIT, IFF)
    • AETC Form 4392, Written documentation
    • Training Review Board (TRB)/Training Review Panel (TRP), Continuation Training Meetings minutes and tracking
    • Semi-annual proration documents and waiver requests
    • Aircrew Qualification Level Summary (also known as the “Letter of Xs”)
    • RAP reporting as needed by the current RAP tasking message
    • Monthly summary of aircrew probation/regression status
    • Grade Book report
    • AETC Form 904, Training Summary
    • AETC Form 173, Commander’s Awareness Program (97 AMW only)
    • Daily Training Summary Report/Weekly Timeline Report (97 AMW only)
    • Monthly Internal Intel Training (IIT) and External Intel Training (EIT) and quarterly Ready Intel Program (RIP) reports (58 SOW units only)
    • In-work and final documents upon request
    • Locally developed forms, briefings, AETC forms, or other AFI forms if applicable
    Ensure students are loaded into appropriate MS; set up student gradebooks in MS and prepare student gradebooks for closeout by squadron Training Officer or designated representative IAW local procedures as required
    Perform regular gradebook checks for syllabus compliance IAW guidance issued by the Training Officer or other designated official
    Ensure students are loaded into appropriate MS; set up student gradebooks in MS and prepare student gradebooks for closeout by squadron Chief Training Officer or designated representative IAW syllabus, AETCI 36-2605 V1 and V4 as well as locally established guidance. This also includes other student programs such as T-38 lead in training, break in training program, Aviation Leadership Program, etc.
    Create, review, and update student/permanent party records, folders and grade books per the applicable AFIs (11-202V1, AETCI 36-2605V1, AETCI 36-2605V4, and 11-2MDSV1), associated MAJCOM and unit supplements, and locally-developed guidance.
    Ensure permanent party and attached are loaded into appropriate MS; set up TI or re-qualification gradebooks in MS when required and review training documents to ensure compliance with 11-MDS-V1 guidance, AFI 11-290 CRM, AFI 11-202V1, locally developed syllabus/program.
    Prepare training folders for closeout by squadron Chief Training Officer or designated representative IAW syllabus, AETCI 36-2605 V1 and V4 as well as locally established guidance.
    Assist in gaining new instructors to the Buddy Instructor Pilot program IAW locally established procedures and 11-2MDS V1 (applicable chapters) and AFI 11-202V1 when required.
    Monitor progress through the BIP program and report to squadron leadership weekly if required.
    Review training documentation for completeness and accuracy IAW 11-2MDS V1 (applicable chapters), AFI 11-202V1, and local guidance.

    Coordinate with programming and scheduling to schedule Theater Indoctrination, Continuation Training, Instructor Development flights and ATDs as required.
    Prepare Instructor Development Meeting minutes/tracking.


    1) Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a DoD operational flying unit (active duty, guard/reserve, contractor or civilian).
    2) Minimum two (2) years of experience working with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    3) Ability to operate the following systems/programs:

        a) Computer based training and integrated management system (TIMS,GTIMS, PEX, X-plan)
        b) SharePoint websites and communities of practice
        c) Microsoft Access is not required but highly desired

    4) Satisfactory background check; T1 Investigation
    Additional Comments:  Contractor personnel not requiring access to classified shall successfully complete, as a minimum, a Tier 1 (T1) investigation, before operating government furnished workstations. The contractor shall comply with the DoD 5200.2-R, Personnel Security Program, AFMAN 33-152, User Responsibilities and Guidance for Information Systems, and AFI 33-200, Information Assurance (IA) Management, requirements. T1 investigation requests are initiated using the Standard Form (SF) 85 and are submitted to the installation Information Protection Office through the using agency’s Unit Security Manager. T1 investigations are different from the Wants and Warrants checks, and are provided by the government at no additional cost to the contractor.
