    ITA International is seeking qualified candidates to join their team at Pope AFB,NC as the Special Mission Unit Planning and Exercise Specialist Support.



    · Candidate will have in depth knowledge of SOF Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs)

    ·Will assist and facilitate training operations through performing Drop Zone Control (DZC) and Landing Zone Control (LZC) duties providing services for military and civilian aircraft in support of the exercise and air operation missions

    ·Will observe, demonstrate, and participate in the following training operations:  Close Quarters Combat, urban and rural assault operations, small unit tactics, low-visibility operations and tradecraft, Personal Security Detail operations, combat life saver training including Tactical Combat Casualty Care and the use of live-tissue models

    ·Is required to utilize night vision devices, weapons systems small and large, drive standard and nonstandard military and civilian vehicles, fly on rotary and fixed wing aircraft, operate standard and nonstandard maritime vehicles.

    ·Is required to be familiar with Calls for Fire and how to control direct and indirect fire from the ground weapons systems.

    ·Is required to operate military and civilian radio systems

    ·Will performs duties as the Range Safety Officer/Officer in Charge in accordance with base and installation range policies and procedures

    ·Is required to have working knowledge of how to operate Small Unmanned Aerial Vehicles

    ·Will instruct and guide civilian and military role players in support of training exercises and conduct all training exercise support operations

    ·Will performs duties as target safety official that include safety evaluation walk-throughs for integrated live fire scenarios

    ·Is required to work with interagency working groups, National agencies, DOD agencies, U.S. Intelligence agencies and other military commands

    ·Will assist in project development work and additional duties as assigned by the Program Manager and/or Site Lead

    The candidate shall be a competent subject matter expert and maintain a high level of current subject knowledge, capability, and expertise.  Additionally, the candidate is required to exercise discretion and independent judgment since they are evaluating requirements and/or activities and making recommendations to higher headquarters.  Required expertise ensures effective mission execution during operational deployments.


    · Working knowledge of all Drop Zone and Landing Zone criteria and procedures and understand requirements to perform DZC and LZC duties in accordance with AFI 13-217

    ·Must be able to work with and around and employ demolitions (to include breaching), all small and large weapons up to and including 40 millimeter, .50 caliber, and Anti-Tank munitions, pyrotechnics to include ground burst simulators and simunitions.

    ·Must be able to operate military and civilian vehicles in the execution of ground mobility training

    ·Working knowledge of military and civilian radio systems

    · Experience as a Range Safety Officer/Officer in Changer

    ·Experience as Target Safety Official with both live-fire and simulation-fire safety standard knowledge

    ·Working knowledge of operating Small Unmanned Aerial Vehicles

    ·Working knowledge of military and civilian radio systems

    ·Must be able to work on the ground around  aircraft and fly in both rotary and fixed wing aircraft

    ·Other duties as assigned by the Site Lead, Program Manager or customer

    · Must possess active TS clearance, SCI eligible
