    ITA International is seeking qualified candidates to join their team in Pascagoula, MS as Quality Assurance (QA) Process and Deficiency Records Management Journeyman for USCG PRO-GC. This position is contingent upon contract award.

    Responsibilities

    Duties include but are not limited to, the following tasks:

    • Provide PROGC personnel with training on, and utilization support of the TSM System and ETC
    • Deficiency records and processes to be supported include, but are not limited to: Surveillance (Product Verification/Procedure Review), Test Witnessing, Compartment Completion Inspection, Corrective Action Requests (CARs), Trial Cards, and Project Management
    • Develop and maintain ship unique data for PROGC deficiency record input into the ETC tool and TSM
    • Assist PROGC personnel in maintaining and updating the status of deficiency records from creation through closure in the ETC tool and TSM
    • Assist PROGC in the preparation of technical briefings, assessments, audits, and milestone
    • Utilizing available programs, tools, and data sources; assist in the preparation of weekly program management reports, program technical and financial metric status reports, and other reports as
    • Assist in maintaining PROGC calendar of
    • Support PROGC during NSC testing and sea trial activities.
    • Provide trial card status reports (metrics), and progress the correction of deficiencies post trials; in support of dock side and at-sea portions of trials.
    • Maintain the ability to provide ETC trial card creation during pre-trial production inspection and test cycles.
    • Provide ETC tool and TSM system training to PROGC, USN Board of Inspection and Survey (INSURV), and shipbuilder personnel as required.
    • Maintain the ability to transfer current cutter ETC tool pre-trial deficiencies (1 List), Quality CARs, and prior cutter(s) rollover trial card data into the TSM system.
    • Assist PROGC and INSURV personnel with the creation of new trial cards using the ETC tool.
    • Assist PROGC personnel with pre-screening and screening activities before, during and post trials.
    • Assist PROGC with the tracking, defect coding, and other applicable technical assistance on all trial cards from ETC tool creation, through closure in the TSM system.
    • Maintain a deployable mini-local area network for sea trials consisting of a maximum of twenty (20) laptops and associated network infrastructure to support dock side and at-sea portions of trials to record deficiencies to the TSM system.
    • Respond to USN INSURV trial card database requests pre, during, and post trials.

     

    Work Environment:

    Required work occurs in an office setting and in an industrial construction environment. The work is sedentary while in the office. The required work performed in the industrial environment occurs outdoors, in warehouses, aboard NSCs during construction and while underway, at sea. Safety conditions require the use of personal protective equipment or clothing as dictated by PROGC and the Shipbuilder’s policies and procedures.

     

    Physical Abilities:

    The tasking described within this work statement requires moderate walking, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, movement throughout an industrial shipyard facility, movement throughout NSCs under construction, and while underway, at sea. This includes traversing narrow and steep stairways and ladders.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications are:

    • Minimum of six (6) years’ experience in a shipbuilding environment.
    • Possess expert knowledge in the use of the SUPSHIP TSM system, and the ETC tool.
    • Have intermediate knowledge in the design and application of Microsoft Office Suite products. Specifically, MS Excel and MS Access.
    • Possess expert knowledge of SSGC and PROGC deficiency records management processes.
    • Must possess active SECRET clearance
