  • ITA currently recruiting for a  Qualitative Research Expert  for our Washngton DC to support the USCG Analysis, Technical Writing, and Program Management. This is a contingent contract based upon award. 

Responsibilities

  • ITA International is seeking qualified candidates to support the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Headquarters (CG7) located in Washington, DC. The USCG generates Mission Analysis Reports and subsequent Requirement Documents to identify and assess its readiness needs and capabilities necessary to meet operational and functional requirements. The USCG requires support to develop and complete several of analyses and provide technical writing expertise. As the Qualitative Research Expert, the candidate will provide research and analysis expertise for Team ITA in the development of major acquisition documentation, including Mission Analysis Reports, Capability Analysis Reports and Mission Needs Statements, Operational Requirements Documents, Capability Based Assessments, Business Case Analysis and Concept of Operations.. The Candidate shall support these task areas and accomplish the following objectives:
  • Develops and presents project plans on qualitative research and analysis activities in support of major acquisition document development
  • Functions as lead research analyst
  •  Applies accepted research and analysis methodologies and documents qualitative research supporting USCG major system acquisition efforts.
  • Conducts stakeholder meetings, interviews and surveys to obtain perspectives on operational requirements.
  •  Reviews and provides comments and recommendations on acquisition focused documentation
  •  Ensures qualitative analyses are properly conducted and documented in accordance with accepted research practices.

Qualifications

 

  • Secret Required
  • Possess a Masters degree in Political Science, Psychology, Public Administration, Sociology, or a related professional field that provides advanced training on the application of qualitative research methodologies to study of organizations, social groups, and individuals (Required).
  • Have at least five years of experience in developing, conducting, and documenting qualitative research (i.e. case studies, interviews, program evaluation, survey, etc) (Required).
  • Experience supporting USCG or DoD Major Systems Acquisition processes and documentation development including Mission Analysis Reports, Capability Analysis Reports, Mission Needs Statements and CONOPs (Preferred).
  • Experience supporting Federal agencies, DHS, DoD, etc. (Preferred)
