ITA currently recruiting for a Asset Material Manager  for our Bremerton, WA location. This is a contingent contract based upon award. 


  • Process parts requests from supported units.
  • Issue parts to the requesting USCG asset IAW References 2.3, 2.6, and 2.7.
  • Record system generated document numbers for parts requirements and open discrepancies.
  • Actively engage Units to retrieve parts for all outstanding due-in’s
  • Receive parts shipments into the Sector/Field Units.
  • Enter component & parts shipment information into Asset Material Management Information System (AMMIS) and/or Naval Engineering Supply Support System (NESSS).
  • Serve as the supply touch point between USCG assets and Sectors and the SFLC Product Lines for all supply issues.
  • Prepare parts for shipment.
  • Ship parts, components and materials in accordance with applicable
    regulations including HAZMAT.
  • Track shipment status to provide anticipated arrival times.
  • Conduct inventory counts for the USCG upon request.
  • Run reports from AMMIS, NESSS, and Cognos as requested.
  • Conduct parts research using FEDLOG, AMMIS, NESSS and other Federal supply databases.
  • Assist in generating Supply Discrepancy Report (SDRs) & Quality Deficiency Reports (QDRs) and returning applicable components.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation IAW Reference 2.7.
  • Provide Material Manager training to USCG field unit personnel in references thru to include the use of CG AMMIS.
  • It is required that Functional Categories 1 & 2 will provide surge and backup support for each other to include emergent circumstances.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly parts/consumables storage area.



  • Minimum of 3 years of experience required
  • High School Diploma or equivalency required
  • Basic knowledge of computer software including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and basic Windows navigation.
  • Full knowledge of the Asset Computerized Maintenance System (ACMS) and Naval Engineering Supply Support System (NESSS)
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Running reports in Asset Logistics Management Information System (ALMIS), EAL, NESSS, and ACMS.
  • Communicating with field units and Product Line personnel to resolve errors in documents received, and maintaining boat records for assigned sectors.
