ITA is currently recruiting for a Life Support and Travel Specialist for the ITA International Headquarters location

 

 

Responsibilities

The job of the Life Support & Travel Specialist is to provide administrative support to Division and Program Managers and will support the deployment and redeployment of personnel to multiple OCONUS locations including potential positions in high-risk areas in all Combatant Commands. Candidate will coordinate efforts with other contractor and government agencies in conjunction with ITA internal and external operations in order to understand country-specific entry/exit requirements, track personnel, schedule and assist personnel with completing all deployment and/or CONUS Replacement Center (CRC) requirements. Candidate must be detail oriented and have the ability to multitask and follow established business processes and regulations.  Must also be able to communicate effectively with teammates, management and government Program Office personnel.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Comply with various government agency requirements regarding country-specific entry/exit requirements using established procedures
  • Track personnel movements, schedules, and assist with CONUS-related requirements.
  • Enter personnel, deployment, and contract data into Synchronized Pre-deployment and Operational Tracker (SPOT) (to include requesting Letters of Authorization (LOAs)) as required
  • Maintain deployment requirements database for assigned employees.
  • Schedule, monitor and track all pre-deployment preparations, which includes training and medical/dental/immunizations exams
  • Language Coordinator – ensure certification of language testing to include: testing, reporting and scheduling
  • Coordinate and ensure medical screening is completed OCONUS and OCONUS as required
  • Assemble digital and hard copy deployment, CRC and personnel records
  • Work closely with the PMs and task leads to gather deployment requirements, schedules and information
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and schedule as well as serve as POC Concur Travel System
  • Assist in Business Development activities (i.e. SME, Technical Expert) as required
  • ITAR / Export Compliance Administrator
  • Alternate FSO

Qualifications

SKILLS:

  • Bachelors degree and 2+ years of relevant experience.  Six years of experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree and four years of work experience.
  • Familiarity with the DoD deployment systems and published guidance (i.e., Synchronized Pre-deployment and Operational Tracker (SPOT), Aircraft and Personnel Automated Clearance System (APACS) and the DoD Foreign Clearance Guide).
  • Excellent customer service skills and abilities
  • Experience in an office setting handling confidential/sensitive information
  • Must have a Secret security clearance.
  • Overseas contract experience preferred
  • Familiarity and experience with Concur Travel System
